Molt keeps a customized Shopify theme current. These pages cover each step, from installing to rolling back.

Molt compares your theme with the release it started from, carries your changes into a newer release as a draft theme, and shows you your pages on both. You publish when you're ready.

Start here

  1. Install Molt from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Check that your theme is supported.
  3. Read what's different in your theme. This part is free.
  4. Prepare an upgrade when a newer release is available.
  5. Read the review page and compare your pages.
  6. Publish, and roll back if you change your mind.

What changes on your store

An upgrade adds one unpublished theme. Your live theme stays as it is until you click Publish. The theme that was live stays on your store afterward, so one click puts it back.
